Tonight I easily talked my sister into a ride to the lake so I could get a line in the water and test the early salmon run. No luck with the fish but there was a powerful chop pounding the pier with kids standing by finding it as exciting as fireworks.

I got to take in a preview of Erika Kristine Bogner’s show, Adieu View set to open September 15, upstairs at Snug Harbor. Good stuff there… worth the trip to the lake for cocktails and photography as our afternoons cool the deeper we get into the month.
